DESCRIPTION:Molecular Origins of Life\, Munich (MOM 2026) explores one of 
 science’s most fundamental questions: How did life begin?\nFeaturing tal
 ks by leading international researchers\, alongside panel discussions and 
 poster sessions\, MOM 2026 brings together scientists across disciplines. 
 From astronomy\, biochemistry\, biophysics\, geosciences\, to theoretical 
 chemistry and physics\, we share ideas and push the field forward.\nTopics
  include:\n\n\nEarly Earth environments and the conditions that enabled pr
 ebiotic chemistry\n\n\nChemical systems that may have preceded living syst
 ems\n\n\nThe emergence of genetic materials and metabolic pathways\n\n\nHo
 w Darwinian evolution could arise from non-living chemistry\n\n\nMOM 2026 
 aims to present and discuss the latest research\, highlight recent advance
 s\, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration toward understanding life
 ’s molecular beginnings.\nThe Molecular Origins of Life Munich 2026 is o
 rganized by DFG funded Collaborative Research Center 392 Molecular Evoluti
 on in Prebiotic Environments. \nAttendance to the event is free of charge
 .\nRegistration is mandatory to be able to attend the event.MOM 2026 will 
 take place in person only. There will be no hybrid or online participation
