DESCRIPTION:The Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics at the LM
 U in Munich will host a school on “Generalized Symmetries” in the peri
 od October 5-9\, 2026.\nThe school is primarily aimed at PhD and advanced 
 master students\, but more senior researchers are very welcome to apply as
  well. It will introduce physical as well as mathematical aspects of categ
 orical formulations of symmetry\, and cover selected applications in high
